respect的用法与搭配

respect的用法：respect通常用作及物动词，宾补动词和名词，用作动词有尊重，尊敬，关心，遵守等含义。用作名词有尊重，敬意等含义。搭配：respect for（因…钦佩、赞赏或尊重），in respect of（作为…报酬），in respect to （关于…）等等。

respect的用法：

1.及物动词

We must respect other people's feelings.我们必须尊重他人的感情。

2.用作宾补动词

I respect him as my teacher.我把他尊为师长。

3.用作名词(n.)

He fought bravely in many battles and gained their respect.他在多次战斗中表现勇敢而赢得了他们的尊敬。

搭配：respect后常接介词for，to或of。

respect接for〔to〕sb表示尊敬的对象；接for〔to〕sth则表示尊敬的原因；接of sb则表示“来自于谁”的尊敬。

aspect和respect的区别：

释义不同

1、aspect：方面；层面；样子；外观；外表；朝向；方位。

示例：Climate and weather affect every aspect of our lives.

译：气候和天气影响着我们生活的方方面面。

2、respect：尊敬；敬意；尊重；（事物的）方面，细节。

示例：The children are not unintelligent, in fact, they seem quite normal in this respect

译文：这些孩子并非愚钝，事实上，在这个方面他们似乎很正常。
