need后面加to do还是doing

need to do 需要做某事，表示主动，主语一般为人，need doing 某物/人需要被做某事，表示被动，主语一般为物。

Children need to be cherished.

儿童需要无微不至的爱护。

We need to preserve the forest.

我们需要保护森林。

They need to feel they belong.

他们需要有归属感。

I need to lengthen this skirt.

我需要把裙子放长。

You need to practise every day.

你需要每天练习。

We need to plan for the future.
